Would your camper like to attend Superhero Academy, use a compass to locate a buried treasure, craft a secret identity or track shark migration patterns across the ocean? Then you’ve come to the right place! We’ve combined science, technology, and the arts into one innovative camp that can keep up with even the most curious kids. And because our themes and activities change weekly, your camper can enjoy multiple weeks without ever doing the same thing twice. Field trips include Pirate Adventures on the Chesapeake, ZavaZone, Medieval Times, and Volcano Island Waterpark (see calendar for specific weeks).
THE KID EXPLORER DIFFERENCE
Lots of camps have weekly themes … but we do it better! Each week we create a dynamic, immersive experience based on a theme, such as Superheroes, Pirates, or the Arctic. Then through the world we’ve created, we give campers thoughtful daily challenges to teach qualities like grit and optimism. It’s our goal to encourage each camper to dig deep and discover his or her full potential. To the kids, it feels like camp. But we know we’re accomplishing more! SWIM
Where available, camp includes either a daily instructional or recreational swim. During instructional swim, coaches set goals that are kid-specific, from jumping into the deep end to side breathing. Your child will be carefully supervised at all times, with a 3:1 child-to-staff ratio in the pool, and swim progress reports will be sent home to parents.

We can make your summer run more smoothly! We offer extended care hours as well as a daily enrollment option, bus service, and a lunch program to deliver hot or cold lunches to your camper.
